Kia Ora and welcome to Tussock Hill Vineyard. We are passionate about being an accessible and inclusive business. We aim to provide every guest with an amazing experience and are more than happy to work with you to make your experience wonderful.
Please know that we do not want to assume the following suits all guests. Please feel free to get in contact with any corrections, or your particular needs and we will try to accommodate as best we can.
Cellar Door/Restaurant
Our Cellar Door Restaurant has a drive in bay to pull in nearer to the entrance and a ramp leading to the wide front door. Please feel free to back a vehicle right on to the paved area at the front to let people out of the car. Most of the driveway is teddington chip (stones) so may be hard to navigate in a wheelchair until it compresses some more- we are more than happy to help with access if we are able.
Menus in larger font are available or by prior arrangement- we can email a word document menu to be read with a screen reader.
Service dogs are welcome in our Vineyard Retreats and in our Cellar Door restaurant.
We have one dedicated accessible bathroom in the restaurant and all of our toilets are gender neutral.
We are able to control all the lighting via an app to adjust the nearest lighting to your table.
You are welcome to breastfeed or bottlefeed in our restaurant, we also have a baby change in our accessible bathroom.
Please let us know ahead of time if you require any help to make your visit easier!
