A rich fruit driven dry Riesling with ripe golden fruit flavours and notes of honey and citrus. Refreshing acidity and depth of flavour create a well balanced wine.
We carefully grow and handpick our organic Riesling grapes on our sunny vineyard in Waipara, North Canterbury. Our winemakers use minimal intervention in the wine-making process to allow the fruit and terroir to fully express itself. We use natural wild yeasts to ferment our wine, with minimal sulphites at bottling. This wine is vegan.
The Waipara Vineyard sits within the Omihi Basin on Awapuni clay loam, below rolling limestone hills to the east.This part of the North Canterbury wine growing region enjoys a micro climate that is consistently several degrees warmer than the Port Hills. Creating a terroir that delivers concentrated and expressive wines.
